A deep dark sequel to Vicious.
This book is a must read if you like: Feminine rage, dark superheroes, superpowers.
My Thoughts
This is a deliciously dark sequel to Vicious.
The pacing of this book is faster than the first one and it kept me reading.
I loved the second act between Eli and Victor, but the new characters, Marcela and ‘June’ are really the highlight for me.
The vibes of this book (for those of you who are Schwab fans) is Vicious, the Monsters of Verity, and Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil got mashed together and had a dark, bloody baby.

One of my favorite quotes from Marcela is:
“How many men would she have to turn to dust before one took her seriously?”
It took me a bit to get into book one, but I was hooked from the first chapter with Book two.
